This new 5th year programme proposed by CEDS is developed in Paris under the direction of Mrs Ouided Bouchamaoui, Nobel Peace Prize Laureate 2015. This Master allows students and auditors to prepare a career in a company, a consulting firm or a public institution working in France and abroad on national and international crisis issues. In a world where areas of tension are numerous and multifaceted, prevention and arbitration techniques are increasingly used to avoid the material destruction and loss of human life caused by armed conflicts and the destabilization of entire countries over long periods of time. This programme is developed in the form of 3 specialized thematic seminars allowing students to acquire theoretical knowledge but above all to meet directly with professional actors and an option “Conflict Resolution and Mediation” composed of four courses.

Some courses are taught in English.

BN40954UNE Bouchamaoui 300x189 M2 Conflict Resolution and MediationProgramme under the direction of Ouided Bouchamaoui (Nobel Peace Prize 2015)

Originally from Bouchama (governorate of Gabes in Tunisia, she joined Hédi Bouchamaoui & Sons (specializing in oil, construction, textiles and industry), a company founded by her father and attached to the Bouchamaoui group, after obtaining a DESS in international trade and marketing.

After the revolution, she was elected in May 2011 at the head of UTICA, driven by a desire for renewal at the head of the employers’ association. From then on, it brings together social actors, the government and trade union centres and seeks to boost investment through lobbying abroad, but also with partners such as the Tunis Stock Exchange. It also conducts direct social negotiations with the Tunisian General Labour Union, while intervening during the social unrest that is paralysing some companies. Under its leadership, UTICA is also one of the components of the national dialogue quartet that was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize 2015 for its success in the mission that led to the holding of presidential and legislative elections and the ratification of the new Constitution in 2014.

Certification of HEIP programs. HEIP issues certifications and recognition of diplomas. Our status under the 1875 law on higher education allows us to award diplomas in the same way as public universities : students who have completed a HEIP Bachelor’s degree can, for example, then enroll in other prestigious public institutions such as an IEP, the Sorbonne(…) in France or for a Master’s degree at a university abroad. This status also allows us to attract renowned professors who teach in other prestigious institutions, or diplomats, generals, lawyers, magistrates. All our diplomas awarded at the end or our higher education programs (M2) are certified by the State (recognition of level I, and European level 7).
